Come linger in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, where there isn't a fast lane. In some of this country's oldest towns and villages, families and couples are slowing down and discovering something really unique and precious -- themselves. Traveling along the rolling farmlands promotes a sense of personal freedom. Not surprising since so many early settlers here were also search for their freedom. Among stone mills, wooden covered bridges, restored churches, or while attending harvest festivals, people are capturing a different kind of scenic beauty. It's the kind that inspires an inner peace.

Part of Lancaster County's old-fashioned charm and homespun warmth stems from our Amish population -- the families, farmers and craftsmen who follow a deeply religious, family-centered lifestyle that has maintained this tradition through a simple way of life that has not adopted the mainstream culture, yet has adapted in many necessary ways throughout the last 300 years.
